PoS Product Course

 
Order lines in POS are grouped by Product Courses that define the sequence of serving.

Example:

Appetizers are usually served within the first course, main dishes - second and desserts are served within the last course.

The system requires at least 1 product course to be configured before taking the orders. The selection field with Product Course is mandatory at every Product creation form and Product Category creation form.

 
1. Configure a list of Product Courses​

 PoS app > Configuration > Product Courses


At the list of existing records choose existing or create a new one:




2. Use Product Courses while creating POS Product Categories

Assign courses to POS Categories:


POS app > Configuration > POS Product Categories.


Choose the category from the list and open the form view > click “Edit” button:


Course field is editable now. Choose the necessary Product Course and click “Save”. 

All the created at the current category products will have the chosen Product Course inside of the product template since now:



​3. Use Product courses while creating/editing a Product Template

POS app > Products > Products


Choose the tab “Sales” in the product template.


Change the Product Course selected in the field:

Save the changes.

Check Product Courses in the POS UI:


To move order lines from one course to another:

1. Click on the order line.

2. Click to the product course.

3. Order line will be moved to the chosen product course.
